Yesterday, I was on a panel at AALS in the Law & Sexuality section. My talk was about the aftermath of Lawrence v. Texas and how lower courts have treated the decision. I reviewed every case that has cited the opinion in order to evaluate Justice Scalia's parade of horribles in the dissent. In the end, I gave a report card based upon Justice Scalia's forecast and offered some ideas about the scope of the Lawrence right based upon the opinions of lower courts. I'm not sure if I will turn anything in my presentation into something publishable, so I thought I'd post my slides here. The slides were made in PowerPoint 2007 and don't look right in earlier versions and I have removed a couple pictures from the slides. I'm not sure if the panel was recorded for a podcast (I was told it would be). If does appear in podcast form, I will provide the link here.
