SORNA Compliance Update

SMART has issued an update on where states stand in regards to SORNA Compliance. You can read the brief document here. By my count, six states have received extensions for one year to comply. And another fifteen have submitted preliminary compliance information to the federal government. The report does not state that any of the states have actually complied with SORNA's requirements.
